First, bring your jewelry to us once a year for refinishing so we can repair damage from daily wear and prevent the loss of diamonds and gems. During a refinish we clean your jewelry, and check and tighten all stones. If there are issues, like cracks or prongs that need work, we can find them during the check before they cause further problems.
Second, have your jewelry appraised - photos and detailed documentation will help when dealing with your insurance company in the event of a loss or theft.
